Released from Military Hospital: Last Soldier Wounded in Combat in 2016 (S)
Encouraging news from the Ministry of Defense. Carlos M. Pérez, a 32-year-old member of the Urban Antiterrorist Special Forces, was released last week from the military Hospital. Mr. Pérez had been wounded by a hand grenade thrown against him by members of the ELN during a November 29 attack on the police station in Sareva, Arauca.
