#Niunmuertomas; Killings Continue of Social Leaders; With Alicia López Guisao, Human Toll This Year Reaches 23

Three months after implementation started of the peace accords, the number of assassinated leaders continues to rise. This Thursday in the heart of Medellin, armed men got into the taxicab in which Alicia López Guisao was traveling and killed her. Alicia was a leader of the project “Cumbre Agraria y Gobierno Nacional con Asokinchas (Coordinador Nacional Agrario) en el departamento del Chocó,” ¡PACIFISTA! has learned.

Alicia apparentaly belonged to the organization Congress of the Peoples, because in her Twitter account the political movement mourned the leader’s death: “#DDHH With indignation we report the murder of compañera Alicia López Guisao who led the project @CumbreAgrariaOf Chocó.”

This is the fourth murder of social leaders in Antioquia since December 1 last year, known as D-Day. In addition, it is the sixth woman killed in the country because of their political activities. ¡PACIFISTA!
