With shots fired in the air and grenades, a human rights mission that included a journalist from El Espectador and Colombia2020 was attacked as it attempted to reach the area where six peasants were killed last Thursday in circumstances involving the Police. The Government demands explanations. The human rights mission was visiting the village of Tandil, in Tumaco (Nariño), this Sunday when it suffered the attack apparently by members of the Public Force, according to reports from NGOs.
Representatives of organizations like CONPAZ, Corporación Yira Castro, Minga, Somos Defensores, Diocese of Tumaco, Justice and Peace Commission and journalists from El Espectador, El Tiempo and Semana magazine were present at the site. A preliminary report indicates that the mission guide was injured. El Espectador
